Brady has served as a guest juror for internationally renowned competitions, including Figurativas and the Art Renewal Center (ARC) Salon. She is currently self-represented, and her work is available exclusively through this website or in person by visiting her studio in Florence.

Practice & Approach

My practice is rooted in a deep respect for the natural world and honouring its unparalleled beauty represented in the human form. Early in my journey, I came to understand that observing nature in all its infinite variety is essential for unlocking an emotional response through craftsmanship. That pursuit of truth through form, how a sculpted form can stir something in the viewer that feels both personal and universal, continues to shape my work today. I focus primarily on the human figure, exploring how pose, gesture, and presence can evoke an inner psychological complexity. I look for visual drama — a moment of presence or tension that invites reflection. My figurative works often respond to themes of transformation, perception, and identity. A portrait like The Philosopher questions how we see ourselves and others; pieces like Avatar, Red Star, or Muninn’s Fate echo the timeless human struggle to make sense of thought, memory, and emotional experience, while Sauvage explores what we mean to one other. I’m interested in that emotional space between stillness and narrative. The point of artistic dialogue, for me, is not to be literal, but to allow subconscious connections to surface — to leave space for the viewer to bring their own meaning. Ultimately, I aim to create works that resonate across time — sculpture that holds space for introspection and invites quiet dialogue between the viewer and the figure represented.
