Refund and Returns Policy
At Maudie Brady Art, each piece we offer is a unique work of art — handcrafted, limited edition, or commissioned specifically for you. Because of the special nature and value of these works, our refund and returns policy reflects the care needed to protect both the artwork and our customers.
1. Returns and Refunds
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our artworks, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the description provided at purchase.
2. Damage or Defect Claims
Please inspect your artwork immediately upon delivery. If you believe your artwork has arrived damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt.
To process your claim, please provide:
- Photographic evidence clearly showing the damage or defect
- The original packaging and shipping materials (if possible)
Failure to report damage within 48 hours or damage resulting from improper handling after delivery may result in denial of your claim.
3. Custom and Commissioned Work
The process of creating a commission involves an agreed upon schedule to allow for a transparent dialogue to allow for changes to be requested and checked. Custom or commissioned artworks are created specifically for you – once the piece is approved and subsequently finished and shipped the item is non-refundable and non-returnable.
4. Non-Art Products
Some items sold on this site are not original artworks (e.g., tools, prints, merchandise, books). These products may have different return and refund policies. Please refer to the product description or contact us directly for details on returns and refunds for these items.
5. Packaging and Shipping for Returns
If a return is approved, the artwork must be returned:
- Professionally and securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit
- With clear photos taken before shipping, shared with us for inspection purposes
- Using a trackable and insured shipping service (you are responsible for return shipping costs and insurance)
We cannot accept liability for damage or loss during return shipping.
6. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned artwork, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, refunds will be issued within 14 business days using the original payment method, minus any applicable shipping costs.
7. Sale Items
All sale items are final sale and non-refundable.
8. Gift Purchases
If the artwork was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a store credit equal to the value of the returned item. If the gift giver received the shipment, refunds will be issued to them.

Disclaimers
§ 1, All artwork is sold ‘as is’ with no warranty, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
§ 2. Maudie Brady Art or MB Art Supplies shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the sale or use of the artwork, including damage during shipping beyond what is covered by the carrier’s insurance.
§ 3. All artworks remain the intellectual property of the artist. Resale or reproduction rights are governed by applicable copyright laws.
§ 4. Maudie Brady Art or MB Art Supplies are not responsible for delays or inability to fulfill orders caused by circumstances beyond our control.
