Rather than idealising beauty, Laura explores the vulnerability of being seen, and the emotional depth beneath physical form. The sculpture speaks to the universal journey of becoming — a transformation as personal as it is public.

The sculpture 'Laura' was the recipient of the 12th Annual ARC International Salon Award for Best Nude and was displayed in the joint ARC and Figurativas '17 exhibition at the Museu Europeu d’Art Modern (MEAM) in Barcelona in 2017.

I am incredibly honored to have had my sculpture 'Laura' acquired by the MEAM for their Permanent Collection. The MEAM is at the forefront of the figurative art renaissance and boasts an absolutely remarkable collection. It is well worth visiting if you are in Barcelona.
