Homage to the modern man

With this maquette I pay tribute to the modern middle aged man. The piece captures the subtle contours of a body marked by time and comfort, neither overly muscular nor weak, but bearing the gentle signs of a life well-lived. Instead of idealising it celebrates the authenticity and individuality of the male form. It serves as a reminder that every body, with its unique story, is worthy to be looked at with appreciation.

The piece was originally created as a reference maquette, but appreciating its qualities I continued working on it and cast it in a limited series of bronzes. The result is quite beautiful, particularly in this compact size, making it especially appealing to those who admire the male form.
