Idan was visiting family and studying sculpture in Florence when we met and he was able to sit for me a few times before he left Italy to return to Israel His face (not to mention his hair) has a strong character which shows his mixed heritage and I managed to catch a moment of him deep in thought. When he returned a few years later he was able to see the bronze portrait I had cast of him, he was very happy to see the results of our few sessions.
