Ten artists from all over the world (including me) were shortlisted for a bronze portrait commission for the prestigious Salmagundi Club in New York. The subject needed to be a previous member of the club and it seemed appropriate to choose to make a maquette of sculptor Augustus St. Gaudens.

An exhibition was held of the ten shortlisted works at the Salmagundi Club during February 2023, including the winning piece  by Heather Personett, also a portrait of St Gaudens.
