Medusa

Medusa portraits a moment of determination and hardening. In the mythologial story Medusa was murdered, but even after her death her severed head was so powerful it turned anyone who looked upon it into stone.

The impact of this sculpture becomes more obvious when the viewer meets the portraits gaze with his or her own eyes, and because the portrait is looking down, the placement should be high enough to facilitate this.
